Whiskey Joe's Bar and Grill

Whiskey Joe’s is this really cool bar and grill that sits right on the Courtney Campbell Causeway. Also known as 60 West, this will take you right into Clearwater. Although my friends tell me this is more of a local place, I imagine tourists would find it great too. It’s pretty large in size with several seating options. They have a pretty large beach area that has picnic tables and other individual tables that you can sit in. Each picnic table is set up with a cute hut style canopy over it. Along the water front, they also have wooden chairs that you can sit in and just enjoy the view. I have seen people pull up with their boats and sea-doos. Keep in mind, there is no boat docks or anything like that. People just literally pulled up and kind of hung out there. There is one central bar on the beach where you can order just about anything. They do have a menu for the beach area but it’s limited so keep that in mind. They also have live music on the weekends. Covid-19 has kind of limited some of the things they do there but if you follow their Facebook page, you’ll be able to keep up-to-date on any music that’s there. At the restaurant level, they have indoor seating and deck seating. Both have a much larger menu. The deck seating is pretty cool as well but there was no shelter in most of that area. There is an outdoor bar that you can also sit at and have an elevated view of the Dale Mabry Beach area. Lastly, there is a fun gift shop inside. I’m not gonna lie. I bought 3 of these goody alligator cups and sent them to family and friends. Okay, I kept one for myself.

Vegetarians / Plant-based: I can’t say it is vegan but they do have the Beyond burger which is what I had. And of course they have a variety of sides. So I would consider this vegetarian and plant-based friendly.
